1958's The Art of Animation First Edition Book, personally auotgraphed by Walt Disney, author Bob Thomas, and a dozen Disney Studio artists.  The book is boldly inscribed and signed by Walt Disney to Disney Studio layout artist Sylvia Roemer on the page opposite the title page with a HUGE signature:

 Ms. Roemer joined the Walt Disney Studios' Ink and Paint Department in the mid-1940s, and by 1960 she had moved into layout. She contributed to the making of Disney animated features and shorts all the way through the production of The Great Mouse Detective (1986).

This is the definitive book into how traditional animation was made; it follows the Disney Studio staff during the making of "Walt Disney's Sleeping Beauty."  Chapters include Story, Characters, Sound, Music, Direction, Layout, Animation, Background and Color, and the Future of Animation.  

The book measures 8.5" x 11.25" and is in very fine condition, including the original dust jacket; dust jacket shows minor wear.  This book is double authenticated; it includes the Howard Lowery Authenticity Certificate (his wife Paula Sigmund was a long-time Disney Archivist) and also the Phil Sears Collectibles Lifetime Guarantee of Authenticity.  An extremely rare find!  A similar signed book sold at Heritage Auctions in June 2023 for $36,000!
