A rare 1945 letter in which Walt Disney mentions his work with Stokowski (the famed conductor of FANTASIA). Written at the end of World War II, Walt mentions that "many of our better artists are in the armed forces." The Disney Studio was taken over by the military in WWII, turning out films to help the war effort.

The letter is signed with an extremely bold and dark fountain pen autograph. Fountain pens create thick, elegant signatures that can be seen from across the room. The letter is written on Walt's personalized WALT DISNEY letterhead, and was typed by his longtime secretary Dolores Voght.

Letter has the usual two mailing folds and shows horizontal line residue from being mounted in a photo album. Measures approximately 10.5" x 7.75".
