A 1964
Walt Disney personally signed bank check. Purchasing a lifetime
membership for the Los Angeles Zoo, this check exhibits Walt's love on animals.
In the 1960s the original Los Angeles Zoo was located steps away from the
merry-go-round Walt Disney famously watched his daughters ride while dreaming of
an amusement park the entire family could enjoy. Walt signed this check the year MARY POPPINS was
released and Walt Disney debuted It's a Small World, Great Moments with
Mr. Lincoln, and Carousel of Progress at the NY World's Fair. Collectors love signed checks for a number of
reasons; indisputable authenticity (complete with the original bank
stamps), Disney's full legal Walter E. Disney signature, and the
printed check itself- a collector's item even if blank- printed with
Walt Disney's name, business address (the Disney studio address), and
direct from Walt's checkbook.
In
very fine condition, with one very flat, nearly-invisible crease on the left

Walt Disney Personally
Signed Check
Framed Display Walt Disney has
personally signed this December 1963 bank check with a bold blue ink
signature. The check is from his personal account at a Glendale,
California bank not far from WED (Imagineering) headquarters. Walt has
signed with his longer legal name, Walter E. Disney. The check is made
out to Disney family member Victoria Detiege. Victoria was the daughter of Lillian Disney's niece,
Phyllis Bounds, and Disney story man David Detiege. Exquisitely framed and
